VETERANS DAY IN AMERICA

Veterans day celebrations are big in America

 Once again Mary was the instigator to get Hans to join the Veteran breakfast celebrations.

I wish South Africa can honor their veteran soldiers as the Americans do. Each and everyone  in America gives honor in some or other way. Shops gives special discounts. 

Mayo clinic has a wall of remembrance. The University invited Hans to join their breakfast. This really raised Hans spirit. 

The event was so well organized - students from the University was serving. The present soldiers welcomed everybody saluting the veterans.

Every house had their American flags hanging half mass for this day. Giving respect for those who lost their lives protecting their home country America.

 Thanks America you really set the example to the world to follow.

  Hans being a Colonel ( soldier at heart for 32 years) this was touching his heart. Made him feel PROUD living his life time dream.
