Coctails with the
Germans and a private symphony concert.
A German scholarship
was presented by the University of La Crosse to a student. Jay organized the
presentation at his house.
We attend from 17:00. Jay did everything in style
and good taste.
19:00 Ken who is the
President of the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra.
We met Mary Carewe Soprano after a goose pimple performance.
Saturday evening will
be the Symphony concert.
Alexander Patts the
conductor of the Symphony orchestra attended this musical evening and was
introduced to us. A very pleasant talented person.
Last evening with Mary
was something to remember.
Mary left at 5:30
today for South Africa. Pearly tears were on our cheeks saying goodbye to an
ANGEL.
Hans and myself now
just have to swim.
Words we don't have
for Mary but her name is burnt in to our HEARTS.
