Mayo Clinic which is at Rochester which its existence is
mainly predominant to Mayo Clinic.
Not in my wildest dreams I could dream the size of this
clinic. Nothing in South Africa can compare with this.
What amazed me most is the friendly, professional,
helpful and smooth way the staff operates. Nothing is to much for them. Their
patients comfort are their motto.
Hans got a patient number, everything they do with
him goes on this number. He can at
anytime open this link and see what was placed on his file. Blood tests
results, CT scan, weight, height, Dr. Mansfield findings up to now.
Just amazing.
Meeting Dr. Mansfield was a soothing experience for Hans
and myself. We felt at last someone you really understands our uncertainty. He
also had empathy to the cost of everything to be done. He had his honeymoon in
South Africa. He offered to be our ONE STOP in Mayo. That will minimize our
costs. Still its just an enormous expense. Blood test, CT Scans and consulting
we.re now on R100,000.
But then if we can add a few more years to Hans life ( by
the grace of GOD) blessing Dr. Mansfield work. Money is no question.
Dr. Mansfield showed us the CT scan take at Mayo. They
cut Hans from his shoulder horizontal open. We had a view from the top. Cancer
is visible more on the right lung and less on the left lung. Nothing on the
liver and kidneys. He now whats the PATHOLOGY SLIDES AND BLOCKS from South
Africa to safe us costs. If they can do further tests at Mayo to establish or
confirm the type of Cancer.
South Africa diagnosed it as "Malignant Solitary
fibrous Tumor" - very aggressive.
Wimcar and Elisme has working on it for a year on a Cancer
Diet as Elisme calls it.
Dr. Mansfield think it is good to do a healthy diet.
He says it must be balanced, your body needs good sugar. The cells that kills
cancer must have sugar and your brain needs it to. So there we go.
Hans with Dr Mansfield..
Wimcar and Odette got on the job to get the Slides and
Blocks. Rebecca got it from Bernard and Odette and Friday morning 8:00 it was
send by DHL to Dr, Mansfield.
Saturday
it was at Heathrow London. We hope Dr. Mansfield will have it Monday.
Now we cant do anything further.
We will enjoy our bucket list and meet some more
interesting Americans here in La Crosse.
