LIGHTS SWITCHED ON

Al the different businesses and organizations sponsor a light display at the
                                                   Waterfront Park on the Mississippi.

Friday evening. They do have a parade going through the town ending  at the Park.                                     Christmas Carols are song  by different choirs, beautiful.
The Mayor did a short speech wishing everybody a blessed Christmas season, then a prayer.

The count down to switch on the lights starts with a fire work display.
Then the automatic (pretend) switch on the light. Never in my life did I see
                                                                                     such a display.

Once again we were wishing our grand children could see it.
The temperature was now 28F freezing point. That didn't prevent the people from La Cross
to come out a d watched the lights.

Our newly friends the Dutch couple Hilo and Judith invited us to Dinner. We met Alexander         their son. What a pleasant evening with delightful French cuisine.
They are what any terms will be described as a world  wise family.  They have lived in so many countries and speaks, Dutch, French, German and English.
After a very delightful evening with music shared from different countries. We said goodbye with a promise to stay in-touch.
